Cono Sur Gewurztraminer was my first introduction to this grape and i found it lived up to expectations aroma and taste wise.I look forward to trying this grape again from all locations.

I ordered this wine at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans to pair with a dish of pan roasted black sea bass and blue crab claws. I selected it instead of a bottle of New Zealand SB that we had enjoyed in the past. It was an excellent wine that had all the positve charateristics of the NZSB .
It was nicely rounded and very refreshing . It had a really clean slightly citrus finish of grapefruit that was perfect with the fish entree. It was also less than half the price of the NZSB. We wrote down the label information so we could order it lfrom a wine store locally.

After a month, i’m here agein to confirm: the wine is really excellent.
Of course, as you may suspect at this time,iI was fortunate to find some more bottles in my neighborhood.
The bottom line: if you are seeking for a good burgundy-stile wine, go for it!
